Step 1. New ASP.NET MVC project with the MVC template

Skip and go to the next step

On the very beginning we will create a new Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Project and add a reference of the Scheduler .Net library to the project.

To present the scheduler on a page, our project must contain the related scripts (code files) of dhtmlxScheduler. So, here we also add dhtmlxScheduler code files.

Your actions:

  1. Open Visual Studio 2010;
  2. Go to FileNewProject and select ASP.NET MVC Web Application on the desired programming language. Name it, TaskManagementSystem;
  3. Go to Project → Add Reference (the tab 'Browse') and choose DHTMLX.dll.
  4. Add the dhtmlxScheduler folder (contains the related Javascript code files) to the Scripts folder placed in the root of your project. If you don't have dhtmlxScheduler downloaded, go here.
